Golf Pub Social Announces New Ownership

FERNANDINA BEACH, FL — Golf Pub Social, Amelia Island’s go-to destination for indoor golf, live music, and community gathering, is entering an exciting new chapter. The venue has been acquired by a group led by Brian Friederichs and Jackie Hill, two hospitality industry executives, who are committed to making a substantial investment in the facility, its programming, and — most importantly — its people.

The new ownership group has wasted no time signaling their intentions. Planned upgrades include the addition of new outdoor pickleball courts, expanded outdoor social spaces, a revamped elevated food menu, and a significant increase in member services and events throughout the year. The vision is simple: take everything locals already love about Golf Pub Social and turn it up.

“Golf Pub Social has always had incredible energy and a loyal community behind it. We’re doubling down on that. Our goal is to create the kind of place where you come in for a round of golf or pickleball and end up staying all night because the food is great, the music is live, and the people are good. That’s what Amelia Island deserves,” said Brian Friederichs, Partner, Golf Pub Social

A New Membership Built for the Community

One of the most significant changes under new ownership is the launch of a brand-new membership program — and it’s intentionally exclusive. With only 150 memberships available, the program is designed to give true regulars a deeply personal and rewarding experience.

Members will enjoy a wide range of benefits, including off-hours access to the Trackman golf simulators and pickleball courts — a feature that sets Golf Pub Social apart for members who want to play/ practice on their own schedule. Additional member benefits include member only events, discounts, outings and specialized services..

“We wanted this membership to feel like something worth having. Not a punch card — a real community with vibrant events and experiences. We’re keeping it small on purpose so every member gets the personalized attention and experience they are looking for,” said Brian Friederichs

Interested individuals are encouraged to reach out early, as spots are expected to fill quickly.

Coming Soon: Pickleball Courts and New Outdoor Spaces

In addition to the indoor upgrades, the new ownership group has announced the current construction of two dedicated Pickleball Courts and enhanced Golf Pub Social’s outdoor areas. The additions are designed to round out the venue’s appeal as a true multi-sport and social destination — not just for golfers, but for the entire Amelia Island community.

The Perfect Venue for Corporate and Group Events

Golf Pub Social has long been a standout option for private events, and that experience is getting even better under new ownership. With Trackman simulators, Pickleball Courts, a full kitchen,  lively pub atmosphere, and a flexible event space, the venue is an ideal setting for corporate outings, team-building events, client entertainment, birthday parties, and group celebrations of all kinds.

Whether you’re hosting 10 guests or a full company retreat, Golf Pub Social’s team works with groups to create custom packages that make every event memorable.
