The Observer welcomes your voice, and our intention is to create a respectful, engaging space for discussion. To ensure this, we ask all commenters to follow these simple guidelines:
Reader Identification
Readers must log in and be identified by name before any comment is accepted and published. Reader usernames will be included with the comment. Please use your full name or a recognizable variation of it as your username. This helps foster a more transparent and respectful community.
We ask that comments be limited to 200 words. All comments will be read by a staff member before they are posted.

- No Harmful or Illegal Content
Content promoting violence, illegal activity, or sharing private information will not be posted.
- No Promotions or Spam
Comments that promote products or services will be treated as spam and not posted.
- Cite Credible Sources
If referencing data, quotes, or third-party information, include proper citations or links, when applicable, from credible sources. No disinformation is allowed.
- Public Visibility
Remember, your comments are public and can reflect on you.
