Story & Song Center for Arts & Culture has hosted a 10-month discussion series, “Our Town: Fostering a Healthy Community,” facilitated by T.R. Richardson. The program is designed to bring together residents of Nassau County to 1) explore the elements of what makes a healthy community, 2) learn and apply the art of civil conversation, and 3) foster greater understanding and connection through face-to-face interaction and learning. The next gathering takes place on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.
Previous topics covered in this series, facilitated by T.R. Richardson, an expert in cross-cultural communication, include growth management, affordable housing, the perspective of young people, voting, the impact of development, public safety, media, education, and community health.
The meeting will review the last year and discuss possible topics for the coming year. The program has grown throughout its first year and welcomes all those interested in a healthy community.
Seating is limited, so please reserve your space at Story & Song Arts or by calling 904-601-2118.
