Local artists Carol Winner and Chris Riley announce a new gallery in town - the Fringe Fine Art Gallery, 809 Beech Street. It is located in space formerly the home of Harlow's Fashion Consignment and Fine Art. Carol Winner, a popular local artist, operated her gallery on Ash Street for 18 years. Chris Riley operated her consignment and art business in the shops on Beech Street. The two have joined together and invited other island artists to show in the new gallery.
The gallery is committed to showcasing a wide range of talented local artists. Additional featured artists include Ned Flemming, Trish Jones, BD Burke, pottery artists Robin Bruck and Trish Tipton, and jewelry artist Allison Craft.
The gallery opened April 1. There will be a ribbon cutting and grand opening April 15 from 4-8 p.m. Food, wine, and lots will be happening, including local musicians, Amelia Island Dance, and a raffle for gift certificates.
