Fernandina Beach Library Opens Second Chapters Art Exhibit

The Second Chapters Art Exhibit at the Fernandina Beach Library should be an eye-opening event.  It features the work of three women who pursued their art after having had successful professional careers.

Karen Atkins, glass mosaic artist, Pat Haley, painter, and Carla Yetter, photographer, all call Amelia Island home, but they draw from their life experiences, distinct backgrounds, and interests to fuel their artistic approaches.

Nancy Jordan, Friends of the Library Board Member, shares “Their work is bold, colorful and skilled.  Who knows? Perhaps it will inspire some of the viewers to embark on Second Chapters of their own.”

The exhibit will be in the Community Room at the Fernandina Beach Library from April 7 – May 30, 2026. There will be an opening reception April 17 at 5 PM.
