Fernandina Beach High School Foundation Hosts Feast Fundraiser Feb. 7

Posted

The Fernandina Beach High School Foundation will host its signature community fundraiser, the Foundation Feast, on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at Walker’s Landing on Amelia Island — celebrating more than 30 years of supporting Fernandina Beach High School students and teachers.

Well-loved by the community for its oyster roast, live auction and student-prepared dishes, the annual Foundation Feast also showcases the talent of students in the FBHS Culinary Arts program, who play a hands-on role in the evening’s menu.

The event is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year and fuels its ability to contribute approximately $100,000 annually in teacher grants and schoolwide grants. Each semester, teachers apply for funding to support classroom-specific enrichment programs and equipment, while schoolwide grants fund initiatives such as facilities improvements and the ongoing HOPE Squad suicide-prevention program, which even inspired a district-wide program.

The Feast supports the Foundation’s mission to close funding gaps in public education and ensure every FBHS student has access to exceptional learning opportunities.

“Now, with the third generation of the Wallace-Pierson family attending FBHS and the second generation serving on the FBHS Foundation, we know how great this school is and what an asset it is to our community on so many levels,” says Ange Wallace, Founder & President of Wallace-Pierson Travel, the presenting sponsor of the 2026 FBHS Foundation Feast.

“Our business and our family support the Foundation Feast because it contributes to real opportunities for students and teachers in our community.”

The Fernandina Beach High School Foundation is a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization dedicated to advancing academic excellence through strategic community investment. Over three decades, the Foundation has helped transform classrooms, strengthen student support programs and build a culture of achievement across the school.

Media are invited to attend or help spread the word about this important community tradition.
