Buccaneer Trail paving scheduled next week

Buccaneer Trail will be resurfaced from the South Fletcher Roundabout at Harris Teeter to Marian Drive as part of Nassau County’s FY 2025/26 Level & Overlay projects.
Paving is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 7, through Thursday, Oct. 8, between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. The work is expected to take two nights.
Nighttime work was scheduled to help keep traffic moving during the day and provide a safer work environment for crews. Drivers should expect temporary traffic impacts and use caution when traveling through the work area.
Electronic message signs will be placed to alert motorists of the upcoming work.
Crews will make every effort to minimize impacts to residents and motorists while the work is underway. Thank you for your patience as we continue improving Nassau County’s roadways.
