Arts and Culture Celebrates with More Public Art

Arts and Culture Nassau recently celebrated its 15^th anniversary in front of a new public art display across Centre St. from the historic courthouse. The art is part of the organization’s Arts in Public Places Program, which was established in 2012.

The work is by local artist Jarred Bishop, and here are two other pieces on display: one at the Fernandina Beach Public Library and one at Marina Parking Lot C.

"Arts and Culture Nassau proudly celebrates its 15th anniversary supporting area arts organizations by facilitating grant assistance programs, fostering cooperation and communication, and making facility and infrastructure recommendations to improve and enhance the use and enjoyment of the arts,” Mayor Mike Lednovich said at the celebration.
