Editor's Note: Stephen H. Mintz, MD is a retired pediatrician, and a long-time "snow bird" from Syracuse, New York.  Although this photo was  taken in New York, mask litter is a common sight in our community.  Perhaps the masks are  proliferating like "kudzu" because no one wants to pick them up!
