Thanksgiving Saturday

The weather back in August didn't cooperate so our entire Amelia Island family could celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock with a downtown Fernandina Beach concert by The Honey Badgers.
This Thanksgiving Weekend will come to a big close as Fernandina Beach Main Street and dozens of sponsors, including Pineland Bank along with local non-profits, join forces to make sure the FREE and family-friendly show goes on.
Honey BadgersOn Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 6:30pm the grass park at South Front Street (where the Petanque fields are located) and into Yasgur's Farm will be transformed into ISLANDSTOCK for a night as the Honey Badgers take the stage.
Ricky Robbins, Fernandina Beach Main Street Board Chair and key organizer of ISLANDSTOCK says, “Wear your best hippie clothes, bring the kids (and grandkids) and enjoy a greatest hits from the original Woodstock concert. Be there or be square. Peace, Love & Music will rule the night!”
The Fernandina Beach Main Street Program kicked off in 2015, was recertified in 2019 and is part of the National Main Street Program that includes more than 1,600 communities – large and small, rural and urban – in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. All Main Street Communities share the same goal: strengthening communities through preservation-based economic development in older and historic downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts. It is a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
