Wild Amelia kicked off the 13th annual Nature Festival with the Georgia Sea Turtle Center releasing Vessie, a rehabilitated juvenile green sea turtle back to its ocean home in front of a large crowd. Vessie , stranded on Little Talbot Island, had been receiving care since February at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island, Georgia. Photo courtesy of John Brooks.
