South Fletcher Avenue Fire

Fernandina Beach Fire and Rescue Department responded to an apparent grease fire on South Fletcher Avenue around noon today. The photo and information as to the cause of the fire was submitted to the Fernandina Observer by Sallie McDonald. A passing cyclist aided the resident in smothering the flames prior to the arrival of the fire department.
