Scooter accident occurs in the vicinity of South 14th and Sadler Road

The Nassau County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call  on Wednesday, September 11 at approximately 11:20 a.m reporting an accident involving a scooter.  The individual who placed the 911 call reported an elderly man was "driving a scooter in the middle of the roadway."

Information provided  in the report indicated the victim's injuries were serious. No further information is available. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.*

Editor's Note:  A comment posted below from the victim's wife indicates no serious injuries.
