For almost five decades Peg Leg Pete stood watch at the riverfront. Thursday morning (10/09/2025) the wooden statue was moved to the Amelia Island Museum of History on Third Street. Watch the video of Pete Leg Pete being moved - Mike Lednovich with Observer TV News.
