Unified-Nassau, an Indivisible group based in Nassau County, is sponsoring a NO
KINGS rally on October 18, 2025, in solidarity with groups across the nation and the world. More than 2500 events are scheduled throughout the U.S. and numerous international rallies are also planned. The rallies will highlight the devastating impacts of Trump administration policies and call for respect of the U.S. Constitution.
It will be held at the northwest corner of South Eighth Street at Lime Street in Fernandina Beach from 10 a.m.-noon.
Michael Kersten, a Unified-Nassau spokesperson, said, “It is high time that we recognize the almost irreparable damage that the Trump administration policies have wrought on the average American. We are fighting, not only for the little guy who may lose his healthcare, but also for our children and grandchildren who deserve to live in a kinder, economically stable and more inclusive country.”
Kersten went on, “The Republicans claim that protestors are being paid. Unlike Trump and his grifting administration, we are not motivated by personal financial gain, we are motivated by the obligation to save our democracy.”
Unified-Nassau is affiliated with Indivisible, a movement driven by a vision of, for and, by the people. The Indivisible movement is a network of local groups with millions of activists across every state, working to build an inclusive democracy by fighting for bold, progressive policies and creating local, lasting grassroots power.
Peaceful protest is a cornerstone of Unifed-Nassau and Indivisible rallies. All participants are expected to remain peaceful and to seek to de-escalate conflicts, should they arise.

Trump has done more good for this country than any president since Reagan.

'No Kings' - that group MUST be protesting the democrats, right?
I mean, it WAS the democrats who did not allow their voters to choose a candidate to run for Pres last year, and instead ANNOINTED the candidate that the party's royalty chose.
THAT would be the reason for the protest, right?

A gentle, friendly reminder: When you get home from your "No Kings" protest" - Donald J Trump, The Deporter, will still be YOUR President!

BB Billings,
Not quite — our message is that no one in government should be treated like a king. Whether Democrat, Republican, or independent, every leader should answer to the people, not to privilege or power. That’s what our rally stands for.
