Jax Daily Record reports German Grocery Store, Aldi is coming to Nassau County.  According to Karen Mathis, reporter,  the store will be located on a "10.45-acre development at Florida A1A and Gene Lasserre Boulevard."

Information obtained from the Aldi's website, shows ALDI has 1,600 stores in 35 states.  ALDI urges shoppers to change from national brands to "ALDI's exclusive brands" to save money.

Unique to our area, ALDI charges for bags. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags to save money and for environmental reasons.  For shoppers who dislike shopping carts randomly left in grocery parking lots, ALDI stores have a unique system.  Shoppers pay 25 cents for a cart and their money is returned once the cart is returned.
