"Thank you so much for turning out to the Nassau Humane Society's 12th Annual

Pasta for Paws fundraiser to support our mission of sheltering, spaying and

neutering, providing medical care and finding homes for homeless pets.

Kitchen Manager Brenda Savage and friends take over kitchen duties for Humane Society Pasta for Paws Event. Kitchen Manager Brenda Savage and friends take on kitchen duties during 12 annual "Pasta for Paws" fundraising event.

This year's overwhelming attendance is a heartwarming sign that our

community is passionate about the protection and care of these animals. We

raised over $20,000 in sponsorships, silent auction proceeds and ticket

sales. Over 100 volunteers showed up to help out in all aspects of the

event, which made it possible to keep our costs very low and allowing over

90% of the funds raised to support our mission.

On top of that, we even had some dogs adopted at the event!

Homeless animals have no voice; but your support speaks for them.

Thank you most sincerely."
