9/5/19 @ 12:10 p.m. - Assessments have been done following Hurricane Dorian and due to the lack of severity of the storm and minimal impact on the County, it has been determined that the County WILL NOT be picking up storm debris in the County limits, nor will they be establishing pickup sites. The Nassau County Convenience and Recycling Center is not permitted to accept yard or construction debris so please do not bring it there.

Your regular garbage company may pick up debris for an additional fee. You will need to contact your hauler and inquire about their requirements and pick up schedules.

You may also haul your debris to Sandhill Recycle Center located at 153326 County Road 108 in Yulee. Note that this is a private company and there will be fees for disposal. Please call them at (904) 225-2801 for questions about hours and fees.

If you have any questions, please contact the Road & Bridge Department at (904) 530-6175.
