Editor's Note: Thanks to the help of the staff at the Fernandina Beach Police Department, we received copies of police reports involving car burglaries that took place in the city during May and June.  The Fernandina Observer was informed that some  individuals have experienced car windows broken and  items stolen from their vehicles in the city and county.  Although appearing below  is a small sampling of city only car robberies, we thought by posting a brief summary of some of the incidents, it would serve to remind our readers to lock their cars, and encourage the removal of  valuable possessions.
