Nassau County still has over 140 homes with Hurricane Irma related unmet needs. These needs range from tree debris to extensive roof damage, mold,
and rotting drywall. The recovery efforts in Nassau County are not over for Hurricane Irma, in fact, they have only expanded with time.
The Home Repair Recovery portion process will be long and arduous. We need partners who are dedicated to our community. For us to accomplish our goal, we truly need the "whole community" to work together as a team. In order to restore Nassau County residents to their pre-storm status we need your help. Please join us 10 am- 3 pm to learn what you can do for our County.
This will be a stimulating workshop that will focus on what our community members can do in our Long Term Recovery efforts in Nassau County. This will be presented by B.R.A.C.E, Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies. They are also a COAD, Community of Organizations Active in Disasters, who have had extreme success with the "whole community" approach building resiliency in Escambia County.
