State Representative Cord ByrdFlorida Politics is reporting a bill brought forward by State Representative Cord Byrd to expand the reach of the Ocean Highway and Port Authority into Georgia has been vetoed by Governor Rick Scott.
In AG Gancarski's article titled "Another day, another veto for Cord Byrd," "Scott’s objection was that the bill authorized construction of infrastructure outside of FDOT Work Program’s scope, pushes for infrastructure in Georgia, and authorizes the Authority the ability to issue bonds."
