Folio Weekly reports on 'turmoil' in Fernandina Fire Department

Wednesday's edition of Folio Weekly (click here to view article) contains a lengthy article on what City Manager Joe Gerrity described in a November 25, 2014, letter to commissioners as "department turmoil" within the City of Fernandina Beach Fire Department.  The March 11 cover of Jacksonville's Folio Weekly pictures former Human Resource Director Robin Marley who was employed by the city for ten years and has filed a lawsuit against the city.

As previously reported by Suanne Z. Thamm, "Marley has sued the City alleging that she was fired in violation of Florida’s Whistleblower Act for reporting and disclosing an act or suspected acts of “gross mismanagement” within the City’s Fire Department to City Manager Joe Gerrity."
