Ferst Readers receive national spotlight

January 13, 2020

Editor's Note: Michelle Maddox, regional program coordinator of Ferst Readers of Nassau County, sent us a link to an article published in the Saturday Evening Post about the founding of the Ferst Readers organization. The Fernandina Observer often posts notices from the Nassau County group.

You will find the story of its founding a remarkable one which shows what can be accomplished in a small community beginning with one person who sees a need.  We hope you enjoy!
