Fernandina Beach High School Seniors awarded Friends of Fernandina Aviation Scholarships

Fernandina Beach High School seniors, Elizabeth Lai and Scott Wardrop (pictured with FOFA members Jim McCannell and Mickey Baity) are the 2017 recipients of $2000 scholarships awarded by the Friends of Fernandina Aviation. The FOFA scholarship program recognizes outstanding Nassau County high school seniors for their academic and community service accomplishments and to help further their education in aviation related fields of study.

Elizabeth Lai and Scott Wardrop (pictured with FOFA members Jim McCannell and Mickey Baity) are the 2017 recipients of $2000 scholarships awarded by the Friends of Fernandina Aviation.

Elizabeth will attend the University of Central Florida to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Scott will attend the University of Oklahoma studying Aviation Management. Both plan to additionally pursue pilot ratings.
