Fernandina Beach's waterfront Parking Lot B is the scene of lots of activity today, June 14, 2014, as the city celebrates National Marina Day. People were already milling around before the event began at 10:00 a.m., checking out the boats and many vendors.
The waterfront was comfortably full of boaters, would-be boaters, pirates and folks just enjoying the event and the music. Westrec's Fernandina Harbor Marina manager Joe Springer managed to capture ideal weather for the event: overcast skies, but no rain scheduled until late afternoon.
