The Fernandina Observer welcomes the following businesses newly licensed to operate in our city last month.  Note that the insurance companies provide services in our city but do not have an office within the city limits:

The City Building Department issued 235 building permits in October.  By activity, the greatest number of permits were issued for mechanical work, followed by electrical and tree removal permits.  Ten permits for new buildings were issued.

All permits may be viewed on the city website fbfl.us.  The permits listed below reflect new construction or other significant building activity:
