The Fernandina Observer welcomes the following businesses newly licensed to operate in our city last month.  Information is gathered from the City of Fernandina Beach website, and from the City Clerk's office.

The City Building Department issued 240 building permits in March for actions ranging from tree removal and re-roofing to new construction and renovations.  All permits may be viewed on the city website and go to quick links on right.  The permits listed below reflect new construction or other major building activity:

#20130416:  Danie T. Ward, Trustee:  renovation of an existing B&B into a 2 family residence at 3036 S. Fletcher

#20130437:  Seda Construction Company:  construction of a new dwelling at 525 Spanish Way West

#20130440:  Kostich Development, Inc.: construction of a new dwelling at 2481 Safe Harbor Lane

#20130446:  Florida Public Utilities:  construction of warehouse office complex at 790 Amelia Island Parkway

#20130491:  Seda Construction:  construction of a new dwelling at 557 Spanish Way West

#20130495:  Seda Construction:  construction of a new dwelling at 664 Ferdinand Court

#20130592:  John B. and Shannon K. Maris:  construction of a new dwelling to replace burnt out dwelling at 860 Laguna Drive

#20130605:  AP Lots LLC:  construction of a new dwelling at 1711 S. 15^th Street
