Hoblit Family, Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation, Fernandina Beach High School Foundation Board Members, State Senator Aaron Bean, and Superintendent Kathy Burns along with representatives from Nassau County Schools receive donation in memory of Trinity Love Hoblit.

On September 29, the Hoblit Family, Board Members of the Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation, Fernandina Beach High School Foundation, representatives of the Nassau County Schools, and State Senator Aaron Bean gathered to celebrate a generous donation given to the Exceptional Education Program through the Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation.

Phil and Oliveia Hoblit (pictured right), presented the check which will be used to purchase iPads for students in the FBHS Exceptional Student Class. Students will now have various communication and learning applications, some applications that can pair spoken word with photos and pictures.  The iPads will also open communication channels with other students, teachers and staff.

"Trinity"

When Dianne Febles, Exceptional Student Education Teacher at Fernandina Beach High School, was introduced to Trinity, she was an instructor at  Southside Elementary. "Trinity had primordial dwarfism, and left us much, much too soon," said Febles. "Trinity was a spitfire and was a joy to teach. I am honored that her family and their foundation have chosen my students and our program to bestow this gift." For a little girl, "she had the loudest voice" and was a born leader.   She learned from others and then shared her knowledge with her classmates.  She was special, and confident. "Trinity Hoblit was a unique child who taught us so much and who brought a sense of true joy whenever she came into the room.  If people did not get to know her, it is their loss. "
