Unused and expired prescriptions are often, lost, stolen, misused by family members or mistakenly confused with current prescriptions. We encourage our community members to bring any unused or expired prescriptions to the Fernandina Beach Police Department located at 1525 Lime Street and dispose of them in our secure bin located in the lobby (Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm). These prescription medications are collected and properly disposed of at regular intervals. Spread the word, we’ll be glad to take those drugs off your hands
