Nassau County Coalition for homeless

The Coalition for the Homeless of Nassau County is accepting nominations

for the  "Annual Ele Colborn Volunteer of the Year Award." Ele was a long-time community activist and the founder of the Coalition. We think it is fitting to honor her memory with a yearly award to an outstanding Coalition volunteer who has worked during the year to further the goals of the organization.

*Guidelines for Nominations for the 2015 Ele Colborn Volunteer of the Year

Award*

The person you nominate must have:

- Made a significant contribution to one or more Coalition

activities/projects in 2015. These activities/projects could be the

annual homeless count, The Day Drop-in Center, or Gracie's kitchen, for

- Made a significant contribution to addressing the needs of people

experiencing homelessness and those at risk of experiencing homelessness in

the county

*Members of the Board of Directors of the Coalition are not eligible for

this award.*

you are nominating is worthy of this award. *The deadline for nominations
