Cold early morning temperatures just might be the reason for a slow voter turnout in the Fernandina Beach City Commission runoff election. As of 11:00 today, percent turnout is 14.57% with1,584 voters showing up to the polls. There are 10,873 registered voters in the city.

During the 2018 November General Election, approximately 64% of the registered voters (6772) marked their ballots in  Group 4.

Temperatures will begin warming up to the low 50's beginning at noon today.
