City of Fernandina Beach welcomes new police officers

We would like to introduce our two newest police officers, Augustine “Auggie” Passante and Ryan Springer. Both officers graduated from the Police Academy last month and started with the FBPD this week.

City welcomes Police Officers Officer Passante and Officer Springer.

Officer Passante holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Mount Saint Mary College. Prior to joining the FBPD he was a part time firefighter for 16 years in Highland New York and a 9-1-1 Supervisor for 11 years in Ulster County New York.

Officer Springer is a local guy who is just a few credit hours away from earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from FSU.

We welcome both new officers to the FBPD and wish them a long and successful career serving their community. If you see them out and about, please say hello.
