Many Fernandina Beach voters received their 2020 Mail Ballots from the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections yesterday. For the benefit of City voters, the Fernandina Observer provides the information below from the City of Fernandina Beach website. There is still time to contact the candidates with your questions.
Because the 2020 ballot is a long one, please remember to go all the way to the end to vote in the City elections!

Newly elected Commissioners shall be sworn in and assume the duties of office at the Organizational Meeting of the City Commission held at 5:00 pm on the third Tuesday of December, or at such other reasonable time or date that the City Commission may designate, unless the election results are not certified. In that event, the Commissioners will be sworn in and assume the duties of their offices at the next City Commission Regular Meeting following certification.
