City encourages invasive plant removal in private yards

City of Fernandina Beach

February 11, 2022

At various times through out the year City volunteers attack invasive plants.

A reminder that it's At-Home Weed Wrangler month! Between now and February 28, pick an invasive plant in your yard and get rid of it. Take before and after photos and submit them to: www.floridainvasives.org/flwww.cfm

If you are available and would like to join City volunteers at various locations throughout February and beyond, contact Kathy Russell at krussell@fbfl.org. February events may be submitted by individuals for prize drawings!
