"Baptist Medical Center Nassau unveiled their new High-Tech Surgery and Procedural Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 14th. The 30,000-square-foot center features four “smart” operating suites which are 200 square feet larger than previous surgical rooms with ceiling-mounted equipment and HD surgical cameras. It contains twenty large private patient rooms, two endoscopy suites and a high-tech sterilization center. The hospital invested $22.5 million dollars to build this state of the art Surgical and Procedural Center and they will be taking patients the first week in January."
