Another candidate for Fernandina Beach City Commission joins the race

City Clerk Caroline Best notified the media today that "Mr. Ricky Robbins Jr. announced his candidacy earlier this morning for the 2020 General Election, Group 3. Mr. Robbins may be reached at ricky.robbinsjr2020@gmail.com or (904) 206-3391."
Robbins will challenge incumbent City Commissioner Chip Ross in the November 3, election.
Qualifying begins July 13, at 8:00 a.m. and ends July 17 at 5:00 p.m.
The races shape up as follows:
Group 1 (John Miller’s Seat): Candidates Bradley Bean and Marian Phillips
Group 2 (Phil Chapman’s Seat): Candidates Alexandria LaJoux, Genece Minshew and David Sturges
Group 3: Candidates are Incumbent Commissioner Chip Ross, and Ricky Robbins Jr.
