Editor's Note: Philippe Boets is Fernandina's "Mr. Petanque." Not only did he bring the French game of petanque to our city, but with help from his friends, established an international pentanque tournament. The Petanque America Open is the largest petanque tournament in the United States. Thank you Philippe for all you have done.
