Editor's Note:  Although the ocean is off limits for beach goers, some ignored the warning of severe rip currents.  A little bit of sand was left at the Dee Dee Bartel Boat Ramp, Fort Clinch  closed, and various businesses board up prior to Hurricane Dorian's visit.

Sandbag sites are all closed. Nassau County distributed 51,000 bags and 1550 tons of sand to the Nassau County.
