Editor's Note:  We were thrilled to receive photos from four photographers who captured pictures of these great-horned owls residing on  "Mary Agnes' Tree" on South 8th Street tree near ByGo .

The Snyder husband and wife team have always loved photography, birds, and being outdoors. When asked who took each photo, Kirsten said they swap their camera so often they don't always know. Kirsten and Hal started their website www.moonbeampublishing.com on bird photography and other interests in 2008, sharing the amazing sights they witnessed in nature.

Paul and his wife Carol moved to Amelia Island sixteen years ago after Paul's retirement from Eastman Kodak. During Paul's 29 years with Eastman Kodak he worked in part on photographic products. He marvels at new technology because in the old days it would take expensive equipment to capture such a shot.
