Editor's Note:  Mary Anne Sharer Waikart moved to Fernandina in 2010 from Washington, DC where she was a dean at Georgetown University.  She is retired but is an avid supporter of both 8 Flags Playscapes and Barnabas.  She is not a photographer but was moved by the Valentine's Day sunset as she drove down 14th Street, shooting the photo from the car with a simple flip phone.  We thank Mary Anne for her contribution to the Fernandina Observer.
