Amelia Island revealed . . .

Editor's Note: Although rare for an "Amelia Island revealed . . ." to feature a video, especially one that highlights a business, we have made an exception. Thomas Oliver, owner of Amelia Adventures is beginning his second year as a local business owner.  Using a drone, this video was taken near his family's home in Amelia City.

Before moving to Amelia Island, Thomas spent time in North Carolina, and Alaska filming and producing such shows as "Coast Guard Alaska" and serving as a wheel house producer for "Deadliest Catch." His marketing company, Oliver Media, began in 2001.

Thomas and his wife Catherine, who is also involved  in the business, have two daughters Amelia and Evelyn. As a third generation islander, Thomas has spent many years exploring area waterways with his father Tom Oliver who after graduating from FBHS in 1964, and attended the United States Naval Academy.
