Bill Warner, founder of the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, sends a special invitation each year to some 50 owners of classic automobiles to take part in an annual "Passport Transport Eight Flags Road Tour."   Shortly before noon  vehicles will arrive in the historic downtown and  be on display between Front and 6th Street until 1:30 in the afternoon.

According to Marianna McIntyre, island liaison, Warner selects a diverse group of vehicles for this event.  "Downtown restauranteurs have graciously offered free meals for participating  drivers so even more money can be distributed to northeast Florida non-profits." Two local non-profits benefiting from this year's Concours d'Elegance are Micah's Place, and Fernandina and Nassau County's Shop with Cops program.
