Fernandina Beach marked Veterans Day 2025 with its annual downtown parade Tuesday morning, as crowds lined Ash and Centre streets to honor those who have served in the nation’s armed forces. Hosted by American Legion Post 54, the procession stepped off at 11 a.m., following the city’s traditional route through the historic district before returning to Central Park. Legion members also upheld their yearly custom of placing American flags along the Shave Bridge in advance of the holiday.
