Jason Woods creates original theatrical work, film, and literature united by a fascination with transformation: how characters, and the worlds around them, change. He is beloved on Amelia Island for his appearances at Dickens on Centre and his performances of Bing! at Story & Song.
In his new book, "The Little Toy Shoppe," he shares the story of an abandoned, broken-down toy shoppe. Four leftover toys hope to be chosen by children and have the thing they want most of all: a family. As the days, weeks, and months go by, they wonder if they’ll ever be accepted for who they are. Bound in emerald cloth with gold foil detailing, rich black end sheets, and black-and-white illustrations, "The Little Toy Shoppe" is designed to feel like a cherished classic passed down through generations.
At the book launch, learn about Jason Wood’s newest creation, enjoy refreshments, and get an autographed copy of "The Little Toy Shoppe." Additional copies of the book will be available for purchase.
