Fernandina Beach Pride Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on supporting, connecting and enriching the Nassau County LGBTQ+ community, will hold its fifth annual parade and festival on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in historic Fernandina Beach’s Central Park.

Grand Marshal Brian Ernst will kick off the parade at 10 a.m. and follow the traditional parade route from Central Park, down Ash Street and over to Centre Street via Second Street, proceeding back along Centre Street and Atlantic Avenue to Central Park. More than 30 entries are registered for the 2025 parade, including the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation, Bank of America, T-Mobile, VyStar Credit Union, Sephora, the First Coast Color Guard, and many local clubs and individuals.

The festival will follow at 11 a.m., which will feature a vendor village with more than 80 booths, seven food trucks, and live music from local artists, including Almost June and headlining band The Wildflowers. For the second year in a row, News4JAX Meteorologist Katie Garner will co-emcee the day’s activities alongside Jessie Sabin, founder of MixHer in Jacksonville. Three sitting city commissioners will also issue a proclamation for Pride Month for the city of Fernandina Beach.

“This is our annual opportunity to make Central Park a safe space for community members of all orientations and genders,” said Jordan Morris, president of Fernandina Beach Pride. “Pride is about celebrating the fabric of humanity and what makes us unique. It will be a day full of love, acceptance, and celebration of living as your authentic self.”

Gold event sponsor Baptist Medical Center Nassau will staff and supply a cooling tent to help keep the heat at bay. Keep Nassau Beautiful’s “Water Monster” will offer free drinking water to help keep everyone hydrated. The event is free of charge, and all ages are invited to attend.

Following the festival, A1A Cidery will host the Pride Afterparty (21+) from 2-5 p.m. and offer a full bar, with a percentage of proceeds to benefit Fernandina Beach Pride. Local music acts Amy Vickery and Brian Ernst will perform.
